how to size racing pants

Uncategorized

A motorcycle rider must wear a pair of motorcycle racing pants with full gear for his safety. But to maintain his balance and comfort performance, pants should be the perfect fit. They should not be too tight to make movement and the circulation difficult. They should not be too loose to compromise the rider’s safety.

Below is the list of the necessary measurements of racing pants and how to take them:

Height:

Stand next to a wall, put a ruler horizontally on your head and mark at the point where the ruler reaches the wall, measure the distance from the floor to the mark.

Waist:

Measure around the body at your natural waist level, usually 6 cm below your navel.

Hips:

Measure around your hips and buttocks at their widest point, make sure the tape is not restrictive.

Inseam:

Keeping the measuring tape taut, measure from the lowest part of the crotch, down to the ankle bone.

Important: Measuring your own racing pants is never a good idea. It has an enormous chance of error andinaccuracy. That way you can end up getting a wrong size.
